You can call us for advice from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

When you call, our trained volunteer advisers will answer. They'll ask you some questions to understand your situation and give you the best advice. They'll explain your options clearly, so you can make the right decisions for yourself. We try to help you solve your problem during the call, but sometimes we might suggest that you take some steps and then call us back. If we think it's necessary, we might ask you to come in for an appointment at our office or a location near you. Citizens Advice Oxfordshire is recognized for giving high-quality advice. You can learn more about this at https://asauk.org.uk/advice-quality-standard/

Accessibility options

If you don't speak English well a telephone translator service is available either in a face-to-face meeting or on the phone.

If you are hard of hearing, a hearing loop is available. Just ask for these services when a meeting or call back is arranged for you. Alternatively, you can get help using the Free Textphone 0800 144 8884.

The Video Relay Service has now been extended by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) for hard of hearing customers claiming Universal Credit using a video link accessed through your own computer, smartphone or tablet. The interpreter will then speak to a DWP agent relaying the conversation by phone.
